Oppo Reno 5 Series Claims to Launch on December 10

A known tipster shared a photo on Weibo, which had three Oppo Reno 5 phones. Their front panels were given in it. Two phones have curved displays, while the third has a flat display.

The Oppo Reno 5 series is likely to be launched on December 10, with the company reportedly teasing on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The series is expected to include Oppo Reno 5, Oppo Reno 5 Pro and Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus. However, the company has not officially confirmed the names of the phones. Apart from this, a tipster has also shared a picture showing the design of the front of these three phones, while another tipster shared a photo of the back panel of the Oppo Reno 5 which featured a quad rear camera setup.

In the Weibo post shared by Oppo, the company says that the Oppo “Star Diamond Rejuvenation series” will be launched on December 10, while it does not explicitly mention the Reno 5 series, rumors suggest that Oppo will launch its latest on this day Oppo may announce Reno 5 Series. There is also a short clip with the post, but this clip also does not confirm the launch of the Oppo Reno 5 Series.

Known tipster Digital Chat Station (translated) shared a photo on Weibo, which had three Oppo Reno 5 phones. Their front panels were given in it. Two phones have curved displays, while the third has a flat display. Probably the Pro and Pro Plus models can come with a curved display and the standard model may have a flat display. All three phones have a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera located on the top-left side of the screen. The Oppo Reno 5 also has a relatively thick chin.

Another tipster with the username Sanyi Life (translated) shared a photo of the Oppo Reno 5’s back on Weibo, as well as some specifications. The quad rear camera setup is visible in the phone, which has three sensor vertical sets. The phone also features Oppo branding as well as ‘Reno Glow’ branding on the back panel. The tipster states that the phone will work on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor and will support a maximum of 65W fast charging.
